If you love the Boston Celtics or admire an NBA legend who won a staggering 11 championships in his career, this is a fascinating read. In many ways, Russell was an average guy with an incredible talent for basketball. Many of the chapters are about Russell's life: the good, the bad, and the ugly of being an African American in the middle of the 20th century. There's also a great chapter on what made Red Auerbach such a great coach.
