He sold millions of copies of this book, and did a lot to jump-start the vegetarian movement in the US, where it had been very, very small, unlike in the UK. So it was very influential, although when I read and critiqued it, I felt a lot of the data didn't stand up.

from 2014 without doing the arithmetic. Full and green is recent; it
drains and cools as the date gets older, and empties completely at about
6 years.
